Splish Splash Continued!

Robby has had this week off in between school and his summer painting job.  We have been trying to make the most of every day and do all of his favorite summer things!  We have already packed in swimming in Calin's little pool, sprinklers on the trampoline, and swimming at the rec center.   

Now add to that the slip and slide, more swimming in the little pool, a trip down to the river to play in the mud and skimboard, and a trip to the splash pad and Judd's downtown St. George!! We also had s'mores on Thursday night, and a BBQ Friday night with a delicious basil burger sauce (made with basil from our garden), Rosemary potatoes (with rosemary from the garden), grilled squash (also from the garden) and Mint vanilla lemonade (mint from the garden).  We LOVE summer cooking and food grown in our garden!!

It has been a great week and we will be sad not to have Dad with us all day next week!! :( He is definitely going to have to take a day off every now and then to enjoy some fun with us!!

Towards the end he became more interested in the mud and while watching him I looked up to see Gracie skimboard and looked back at Calin as he put his hand covered with mud up to his mouth and licked it....Aaaaahh!!  I quick grabbed him and tried to wash the mud off/out.  Pretty sure he did eat a little......muddy sand is good for you, right??

It was an awesome week! I love living where it is sunny and warm so we can enjoy the outside and playing in the water.  We are excited for lots more trips to the pool, river, and playing outside!
