Happy First Birthday Calin!!!

We had a blast celebrating Calin's 1st birthday!!  Since he loves his cars so much we knew we had to go with a car theme for the party!! It was perfect!! This boy was loving it!! A big thank you to all our family for coming, helping, loaning, and being there for us!  We couldn't have done it without you!!

Here is a close up of all the food items!  I got a lot of ideas from my dear friend Tori who threw her 1 year old a car party a couple months ago.  Pinterest was also a great help!! So glad I don't have to come up with all of these great ideas!!  The fruit was all red yellow and green.

Calin had quite the haul of gifts!! Very spoiled!

 Once everyone got there we started enjoying snacks and got their favors.  Everyone got a hot wheel car to race down the track.  We had a great time racing cars down the awesome track that Robby made!   Then Calin helped open all of his awesome presents and then we let him dive into his cake!

Preston got in a box for Calin to open and popped out with some fun balls for Calin!! Such a great present! 

After presents I wanted to get a picture of Calin with everyone that came so we could remember who all was there.  He did ok for the first two but the rest of the pictures he was starting to get fussy so Robby went with him.  Thanks everyone who came to celebrate and for the awesome presents!

I missed a pic with Grandma Mielke but had a couple others from earlier in the evening.  Glad she made the long drive down from Oregon!! 

After presents we let Calin dive into his cake!! He was pretty hesistant at first and was just poking it and investigating.  With some help and prodding though he decided he like it and started eating little bites.  He never did really smash it or dive in though which I was glad about! 

This was maybe the only "big" bite he shoved in.
