June Recap

We love this fun group of friends!  We made several trips to a splash pad out in Little Valley and enjoyed playing with friends.

Calin and his girlfriends swinging.

Park Day with our friends to say goodbye to Natalie, Navie, and Harvey.  We  are really going to miss them!  These three friends and their kids have made life so much better, more fun, more eventful,
and much more tolerable for me!  Sad we are loosing Natalie!

Park picnic with the cousins.  Clara and Calin found a little frog to play with.  Clara had a love hate relationship with this frog.  She really wanted to hold it but also really didn't.  She kept giving us funny grossed out faces and trying to give it to Robby and then pulling back.

We went to the park to race boats.  Here they are starting their boats out down the ditch.

And at the finish line collecting their boats.

About to start another race!

Ending the fun wading in the water!

Our little climber up on a chair so she can watch the hummingbirds. A favorite pastime for both kids!

I was off on an evening bike ride with my sunglasses and Robby was taking the kids for a walk and they insisted on having their sunglasses too!

I have had the opportunity to be out running/biking a lot in the evenings trying to get in shape and get to see lots of cool sunsets and evening nature views.  This was on my bike ride out in Washington Fields one windy night as a storm was blowing in.

A walk to visit the sheep.  Clara is not afraid to pet and touch them at all!

I left Robby in charge of the kids for a couple days and nights while I went up and spent some time in the mountains with all of these crazy girls.  Girls camp was definitely not my ideal get away, but we still had lots of fun.  Minus the fact that we had to wear those hideous sweatshirts!

This was our bunk.  Terrible terrible trailers with bunks stacked 3 high.  This was the leaders room and the girls fits about 24 all lined and stacked.  So not ideal for getting any sort of sleep!

Went bowling with Tracee and Austin for Austin's bday.  Robby would help Calin get the ball going and then he'd sit there and watch it roll all the way down the lane VERY SLOWLY!

Several mornings I loaded the kids up to go biking with me.  They mostly enjoyed it.  Clara usually fell asleep and Calin would mostly just ride along if he had snacks and books to keep entertained.  We usually rode about 45-60 minutes when we'd go.  Glad we always made it home safely!

Sweaty and red faced Calin after playing outside in the hot June St. George weather!

Hanging out in their new chairs having a chat.

Trying to capture Calin and his puzzles he did all on his own.  He can't smile, and look at the camera all at once.  So we end up with weird faced pictures like this.

Occasionally we get lucky with something almost resembling a normal picture but it's usually always blurry.

Masked Naked Baby!

Masked, Caped, Naked Toddler!

CHEESE!! (she loves running around without clothes on)

Having fun playing in the water at our neighbor Josie's bday party!

Josie even had a bounce house right out in front of our house.  The kids loved it!

Father's day! Calin was not wanting to cooperate at all.

We sure love Dad!  He is so wonderful to these two kids and we are grateful for all he does!

Reading stories with uncle Jimmy!

Daddy's shoes!

Matching car shirts for Father's Day!

Cute Clara! Always cheesing for the camera!

Most afternoons/evenings you can find these three swinging, jumping, and playing until dinner or bedtime.  Robby is so good to spend hours out there with them after a long day of painting.

Hanging out in their chairs again.  They have loved having these matching chairs!

Hanging out with Allie, Erich and Becca who came into town for Peter Harris' wedding!

Snack break at the pool!  We all went swimming the day before the wedding.

These two are partners in crime.  Always doing what the other is which is
usually something they aren't supposed to be doing.

I believe Becca is showing Calin a little bit of Land Before Time and he was quite distraught.

Cars and animals with Allie and Erich at Great Grandmas!

Playing Go Fish with Grandma and Great Grandma

Meanwhile Grandpa was playing some version of 52 card pick up with Clara.

Hot evening walk around the block!

Scootering!

Not sure what they were looking at but relaxing in the grass with Grandpa!

Snack break and sunbathing with Grandpa after another swim!

More gaming with Grandma and Grandpa. It is fun that Calin has gotten to the age where he can and enjoys playing games with us!
